Ness Signature Series Kingpin

Victory Styling Partner Arlen Ness Delivers knockout Customization for the Limited-Edition Ness Signature Series Kingpin It’s one thing for a Victory Kingpin owner to add some chrome accessories to his cherished ride. It’s quite another when Victory puts a standard Kingpin in the hands of Victory styling partner Arlen Ness with the invitation, “do your thing.” The result is a stunning custom creation called the Ness Signature Series Kingpin, which Victory will release as a limited-edition model for 2005.

Endless Chrome and ‘Purple Haze’ Arlen along with his son and business partner Cory, started by covering his signature Kingpin with a beautiful paint scheme called “Purple Haze,” then they gave the bike a set of Ness billet wheels and a custom-stitched seat with an ostrich-look surface. The Ness duo then added a reproduction of Arlen’s signature on the side covers, and then got busy adding chrome pieces from the Arlen Ness Signature Series of Victory accessories.
These include:
• Arlen Ness radius drag bars, billet style mirrors & billet hand grips
• Arlen Ness billet primary cover insert & billet timing cover insert
• Arlen Ness logo EFI cover
The bike also has numerous Pure Victory chrome accessories, including:

chrome triple clamps,
chrome swing arm,
chrome axle brackets
chrome switch housings

• chrome foot controls

chrome passenger peg supports
braided stainless steel brake and clutch cables

The bike also has outstanding Power. The talk will be about the bike’s look, but beyond the stunning chrome, billet and paint, it’s still a Kingpin, one of the best-riding motorcycles on the open road. The bike gets its impressive power from the 92/5 FreedomTM V-Twin engine, which is an air- and oil-cooled 92-cubic incher with electronic fuel injection (EFI), overhead cams with self-adjusting cam chains, hydraulic lifters and 4 valves per cylinder. Exhaust flows through two beautiful chrome pipes with slash-cut tips and power is fed through a 5-speed transmission to a belt drive. The ergonomics of the Ness Signature Series Kingpin put a rider in charge on the 26.5-inch-high seat. The front suspension features inverted-cartridge 43mm forks and the rear suspension has a gas shock and rising-rate linkage for the cast aluminum swing arm. The bike has 18-inch wheels, front and rear, with a 130mm-wide tire up front and a 180 in the rear. New for 2005, the Ness Signature Series Kingpin, along with all Victory models will feature self-canceling turn signals for convenience.
